A $6 billion Chicago O'Hare Airport Modernization
Program was approved by the FAA in October 2005 and involves major changes and
additional terminal space. 4 runways will be added. Terminals 3 and 5 are undergoing expansion, and a new west terminal is
planned with western access into O'Hare airport.
